01 · CLOSE TO THE CELEBRATIONS
A lovely reason to get away.
A wedding brings everyone to the same place. The best part of staying together is the time around it: breakfast with family, a coffee while friends finish getting ready, and a comfortable place to return to at the end of the evening.
Park Lane is a restored 1920s home in Hot Springs, around a ten-minute walk from The Omni Homestead’s main resort building and the heart of the village. With three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and space for up to seven guests, it makes a practical base for family or friends attending the celebrations.
The Homestead has several wedding venues across its grounds. Use the location on your invitation when planning the journey to each event; the walk to the main building is not a walking-time estimate for every venue. Explore The Homestead’s wedding venues ↗
02 · A LITTLE ROOM AROUND THE BIG DAY
The wedding comes first.
The rest can be easy.
For a Saturday wedding, this is a gentle Friday-to-Sunday outline. Let the couple’s invitation and event schedule set the pace.
FRIDAY
Arrive with time to settle in.
Allow a comfortable margin between your arrival and any welcome drinks or rehearsal events you are invited to. Unpack, hang up your outfits and make sure everyone knows the next day’s plans.
If the evening is your own, choose a village dinner or keep things simple at the house. Pick up breakfast supplies so the morning starts without a rush.
SATURDAY
Enjoy the day, from the beginning.
Have breakfast together, then leave plenty of space for getting ready. Two full bathrooms and a half bath help a group share the morning; agree who needs to be ready first and allow time for the journey to the ceremony.
Keep any extra outing short and flexible. Once it is time to leave, take what you need for the whole celebration and enjoy the wedding. Arrange your return journey before the evening begins.
SUNDAY
A proper goodbye. One more coffee.
If there is a farewell brunch, work backwards from its time and your Airbnb checkout. Pack and organise luggage before heading out so everyone can enjoy the last gathering.
Without a morning event, keep things slow: breakfast at the house, a village stroll and a final catch-up before the journey home. Add another night if you would like time for a longer outing.
03 · THE PRACTICAL JOURNEYS
Close by. Nicely planned.
For arrival from Washington, DC or Richmond, start with our getting-here guide. Allow extra time for traffic, stops and the final mountain roads, especially if you have an event on your arrival day.
Walking to the main resort may suit an easy village outing. For the wedding itself, consider your exact venue, footwear, weather and return time. If the organisers provide transport, confirm the pickup location and whether it serves guests staying outside the resort; otherwise arrange your own journey.
There is driveway parking at Park Lane. Check the resort’s current parking arrangements if you plan to drive to an event. See resort directions & parking information ↗
04 · STAY TOGETHER
Your own home for the weekend.
The house has a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with a twin-over-full bunk and a twin trundle. For a group of adults, check the sleeping arrangements together before booking so everyone is comfortable with the plan.
A fully equipped kitchen makes shared breakfasts easy. The living room, dining table and two sunrooms give your overnight group space to spend time together before and after the wedding, with the village close by when you want to go out.
Check available dates, the complete house details and your reservation’s arrival and checkout times on Airbnb.
05 · WHILE EVERYONE IS HERE
Make a little more of it.
A wedding is a good excuse for a longer visit. Put an extra outing on a free day, with enough space around the organised celebrations.
A round together
Extend the trip for golf at The Cascades or Old Course. Book your tee time separately and leave the wedding day free for the couple’s plans.

Plan a spa appointment or a soak at Warm Springs Pools, with time for lunch and a leisurely return to the house.

06 · A FEW DETAILS SORTED
Then just enjoy the occasion.
- Keep the invitation handy. Confirm the location, arrival time and dress code for each event.
- Agree the room plan. Match the bed layout to your group and check the full listing before booking.
- Plan the journeys. Sort ceremony transport and the late-evening return, including any organiser-provided pickup arrangements.
- Check the timetable. Fit welcome events and farewell brunch around your house check-in, checkout and travel plans.
- Reserve extra experiences separately. Tee times, spa visits, pool sessions and restaurant tables have their own availability and terms.
